Project Overview: Glass Pyramid Terrarium (3D Render)
Description:
A realistic 3D visualization of a geometric glass pyramid terrarium housing a miniature bonsai tree, lush moss, and natural soil layers. The scene is set on a rustic wooden table by a window, bathed in soft, natural daylight.
Technical & Design Breakdown (Blender Pipeline)
- 1. Modeling & Geometry (Blender):
- Pyramid Frame: Designed a precise geometric glass terrarium with thin brass metal edges.
- Environment & Foliage: Sculpted and detailed the miniature bonsai tree, organic moss surfaces, small pebbles, and layered soil strata using particle systems and custom meshes inside Blender.
- 2. Shading & Glass Refraction:
- Crafted realistic glass shaders with high transmission and accurate Index of Refraction (IOR) to simulate realistic light bending and inner reflections.
- Applied detailed PBR textures to the wooden tabletop, brass frame, and organic soil layers.
- 3. Lighting & Rendering:
- Set up soft, directional window daylight to achieve natural depth of field (DOF), highlighting the fine details of the foliage and subtle condensation on the glass.
- Rendered with realistic global illumination and soft ambient shadows.
